Magnesium Honey Balm - Benefits, Uses, and can I eat it?

Click bait answer: no.  Good lord don't eat it.

Hi, my name is Laura, welcome to my blog where I actually write and I don't let ChatGPT near it.

I have been working on a Magnesium Honey Tallow Balm for a few months now - basically once I entered the space and started selling my own balm, I immediately got ads for my competition, and I immediately decided I could do it my self.

I also got asked about it a lot at markets where I fling my wares.  Turns out, it's not just a trend and people are really looking for honest, local options and opportunities.

Magnesium balm is super interesting.  First, one of the big claims is that it can help with sleep.  Let's break that down a little further.  Because I can sit over here and argue that creatine can help with weight loss, but there are a lot of steps before that happens.

Research shows magnesium could help you handle stress better and keep your cortisol levels in check. When your body doesn't have enough magnesium, stress can hit you harder. And when you're under a lot of physical or mental pressure, your magnesium levels can drop. The mineral may also calm your brain's chemical messengers, helping you feel more relaxed and ease muscle tension and cramps.

With help from the calming muscle tension, magnesium can improve sleep by controlling a brain chemical called GABA, which is crucial for a good night's sleep.

But why add honey?  Well, because magnesium oil isn't actually an oil (it's magnesium flakes dissolved in water), it needs a safe preservative and emulsifier to prevent the oil and water from separating over time.  Honey is the same way.  Honey brings in more sugar and can attract moisture.  I've wanted to add honey into my balms, but I wanted to make sure I did it properly after learning the risks.  Now that I understand how preservatives work, and how they are needed for honey and magnesium, and how good both ingredients are for skin and your body, for calming inflammation inside and out.

Ours will be dropping soon, add your name to our email for updates.
