Tallow Soap Recipe

For you soap makers and DIYers, here is my base recipe for all of my soaps, this will get you a standard loaf (42oz) mold: 

Tallow Soap Recipe

Oils:

  • Tallow: 805 g

  • Castor Oil: 42.5 g

Lye Solution:

  • Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH): 117 g

  • Water (RO or distilled): 340 g

Fragrance Oils or Essential Oils (optional):

  • 21-28 g total
