Unbiased Evidence: Our Products are Simply the Best
Sub Title: I struggle following FDA guidelines.
When it comes to talking about natural skincare products, the FDA has some very clear lines, and honestly, I get it. I love ingredients that do things, but I have to be careful with how I phrase it. For my balms, soaps, and magnesium products, I can share how they feel and the skin-loving qualities of the ingredients, things like nourishing, moisturizing, soothing dry skin, gentle cleansing, and supporting a calm evening routine. I can talk about texture, scent, and the way they make your skin feel happy and loved. I can even say things like “tallow is rich in vitamins and fatty acids” or “this blend helps skin feel soft and replenished.” Those are considered cosmetic, educational, and totally safe to say.
What I can’t say are the medical claims, even if we all know why tallow and magnesium have been trusted forever. I can’t say my balms cure anything, treat pain, fix eczema, improve sleep, heal rashes, solve cramps, reduce inflammation, or anything else that sounds like a medical treatment. Those fall into “drug claims,” and skincare companies aren’t allowed to make them without pharmaceutical approval. So instead, you’ll see me say things like “calming nighttime balm,” “supports radiant skin,” or “a ritual for tired muscles.” My goal is always to be transparent, stay compliant, and still celebrate the ingredients that actually work, without stepping into doctor territory.
however.
My son's eczema wasn't responding to lotions or balms I was purchasing in stores. I started using my tallow blend, and I took photos of a recent breakout (we attempted to change laundry detergent, hoping he had grown out of his skin sensitivity). The first photo is 24 hours after the initial exposure to the laundry detergent. The 2nd is 12 hours after I applied the Unscented Tallow Balm. The third photo is 3 days of treatment.

Here are a few testimonials of customers that I have had come through my booth multiple times. They haven't written reviews yet (I have asked!) but I don't want to burden people with an extra task when they've already filled me with warm fuzzies.
I have one customer who has come to my booth at the farmers market 3+ times, the last time she brought her friends to my booth and said, "look at the difference in my face!" pointing out the redness in her cheeks had subsided drastically.
This past weekend I had a very nice woman come to my booth, asked if my Magnesium Balm worked - and told me she had MS. She asked if she could use the sample on her back, where she was sore, and she said "if it works as I walk around the flea market, I'll be back." She came back and bought a jar.
One of my close friends actually tracked the amount of times she woke up through the night before and after using the Magnesium Balm. When she wasn't using it - she was waking up 3-4 times a night. When she applied the magnesium balm, she was waking up only once, and falling right back asleep.
So yeah.
I can't make claims. But the testimonials speak for themselves.
